The hotel is a former cotton merchant's mansion which has been tastefully converted into premier boutique accommodation. In March 2004 the establishment underwent a 2 million pound refurbishment that included the addition of the spectacular Conservatory Restaurant. The 41-room air-conditioned hotel houses a lobby with a 24-hour reception and check-out service, cloakroom and lift access. Guests can relax in the bar or make use of the hotel's conference facilities. Room and laundry services are also offered.
