This is a simple hotel, and the rooms are not luxurious, varying a lot in size between very small and medium sized, the rooms are decorated in a mixture of styles and furnished with old fashioned furniture. Aesthetes will recoil in horror at some of the bedspreads, but overall these are fun, friendly rooms designed for the backpacker or student on a tight budget.

This was once a very grand building and the restaurant reflects this with its gorgeous high corniced ceiling, polished parquet floor and huge casement windows.
