Occupying a building with a listed Art Noveau facade, this well-known hotel is centrally located on Leidseplein and has its own boat landing station on one of Amsterdam's canals. Amsterdam offers not only plenty of shopping opportunities, such as designer shops but also restaurants, many sights of interest, cultural venues, galleries and nightclubs.

The whole building was completely renovated in 2001 and has been designed to ensure disabled access. Although famed for its art deco flair, the hotel is also modern and comprises marble floors. There are comfortable seating areas in inviting red tones throughout. The modern bar was also completely renovated and is situated close to the reception. Further facilities include three lifts. In addition, there is a 24-hour porter service as well as room service. The hotel also offers its own car park for coaches and additionally features a laundry service as well as a babysitting service. The hotel is famous for its brasserie, where all meals are served. The hotel is particularly spacious and designed in an Art-Deco style as well as affording views of the Leidseplein. In the summer months, the hotel offers the opportunity to dine outside. In addition, tea, coffee and light snacks are served here. The luxury hotel comprises a total of 188 rooms including 2 suites.
