This centrally located hostel is only 1 stop on the urban train (S-Bahn) network from the central station and some 10 minutes from the Theresienwiese, where the annual Oktoberfest takes place. Bus and S-Bahn stations are some 100 m away. Guests will find typical, traditional restaurants, pubs and beer gardens in the vicinity. It is only some 25 km to Munich Airport.
This hostel was opened in 2005 and comprises 1 main building and 2 annexes with 5 floors each and a total of 212 rooms. Single, twin and shared rooms are on offer. With over 80 beds in shared rooms and 50 in twin rooms, the hostel provides outstanding accommodation for both families and large groups. The welcoming receptions offers guests a lobby area with a 24-hour reception, a hotel safe, a cloakroom and lifts. Further facilities include a cafe, a newspaper stand and a bar. Meeting room with the appropriate technical equipment may be made available on request. WLAN/Internet access and bicycle hire complete the range of services on offer. Cars may be parked in the garage.
Pets are allowed in the single and twin rooms, for a surcharge per night, on request. For the shared rooms, a one-time charge will be made for bed linen, where this is required. In the single and twin bed rooms, breakfast, bed linen and towels are included in the price of the room. The check-in is at 10:00h (weekends is at 11:00h) and the check-out is at 16.00h.
A&O Arnulfstrae is a modern, budget property situated adjacent to the central bus station and a 10-minute walk from the Oktoberfest site. Guests can play billiards, use the Internet access in the public areas and book tour tickets at the 24-hour front desk. Other amenities include a bar/lounge, bicycle rentals, multilingual staff, elevator/lift and a safety deposit box at the front desk. Nearby recreational activities include swimming, basketball, aerobics, mountain biking, racquetball/squash and volleyball.This hotel features 145 guest rooms, all of which include cable television, a desk, shower only, direct-dial telephones and private bathrooms. Only one station away from the main station we opened our A&O Hotel Arnulfstrasse Munich. Low priced and located central (10 min. walk to Theresienwiese), our house is the perfect starting point for activities in the city area of munich or surroundings.
