The exterior of the building is an impressive white wood Ottoman house. Really nice and in fantastic condition. The hotel is actually several buildings together.
The reception area is small due the type of building but there is some seating area and also it's connected to a coffee lounge.
This hotel is very centrally located close to a park and just 30 m from the river bank. Restaurants, shopping venues and links to the public transport network are to be found only 50 m away. The historical centre with the Blue Mosque, the Hagia Sophia Museum and the Topkapi palace can be reached in just a few minutes' walk. Istanbul airport is around 18 km from the hotel.
