It is a 2 storey white and terra cotta coloured building. It is built in an L shape that encloses the pool and garden.

The lobby is medium sized. There is also a gift shop near the entrance where guests can benefit from an exclusive discount on every purchase.

The hotel is located in Platanias which is the most well known seaside village for the holidaymakers with restaurants, supermarkets, bars, stores with clothes or souvenirs and with a very good bus and taxi transport service. It is located within 100 m from a sandy beach and 6 km from the historic town of Rethymno.

The name of this modern hotel comes from the village AXOS'. It works since 1989 and has been fully renovated in 2009. The hotel is suitable for couples and for families. It offer guests 44 rooms on 2 floors, free internet in the lobby area and discount for the 'Axos' gold shop. As family- run hotel its target is the friendly atmosphere.
