Carvoeiro Sol

This attractive beach hotel is located directly on the sea and is separated from the sandy bay of Praia do Carvoeiro by just a street. Public transport departs from stops directly in front of the hotel. There are scores of shops, bars, restaurants and pubs in the immediate area surrounding the tourist centre and a nightclub just a stone's throw away.

Built in 1974, this hotel was renovated in 2003 and offers a total of 52 double rooms spread over 3 floors. The facilities include a lobby with a 24-hour reception and safe, a currency exchange desk and a lift. It has a bar, a TV room and an air-conditioned a la carte restaurant with a separate non-smoking area and children's highchairs available on request. Internet access, room and laundry services are also available for guests.

The Carvoeiro Sol Hotel is located overlooking the local square of Carvoeiro, a typical Algarvean village, within walking distance of shops, restaurants and entertainment and yet only 25 metres from the beach. As the hotel is just a 45 minute car journey from Faro Airport it is an excellent base from which to explore the Algarve. All rooms have ensuite bathrooms and are fully equipped with basic amenities.
