This hotel lies right at the heart of the tourist area. The pilgrimage destination of Candelaria is located 3 km away, where guests may find a black sandy beach. It is about 8 km to a white sandy beach. There are shops, bars and restaurants nearby. Links to the public transport network are located in the immediate vicinity (roughly 20 metres). Tenerife's southerly airport is about 45 km from the hotel.
The hotel was built in 1970 and renovated in 2006. A subtropical garden separates the hotel from the road and it consists of 9 floors and 437 double rooms. The reception is occupied 24-hours and there is a lift. In addition, there is a shop, a hairdresser's salon, a bar, a nightclub, a TV room and an air-conditioned restaurant. There is a laundry service on offer for guests. There is a kids' club for children aged between 4 and 10 years.
This complex is not a fully All Inclusive, so some facilities and services can have an extra charge. The All Inclusive programme will be given to the guests on arrival.
There are 3 outdoor swimming pools (2 fresh water and 1 seawater) and large garden which includes several species of palm trees and exotic plants. You can also take part in a number of facilities and activities such as, tennis, squash, green bowling, miniature golf, gym, petanque, sauna, massage, hairdressers, children's playground, shops. The hotel offers a large variety of day-time and night-time entertainment activities as well as a discotheque and live shows in the bar.
The stylish rooms are decorated with white curtains and red bedspreads. Most rooms have dark toned wooden flooring making a nice contrast to the plain white walls.
The buffet restaurant with show cooking during dinner is decorated in a contemporary style. There is a bread and pastry oven for breakfast and a barbecue restaurant.
