Links to the public transport network lie close by and there are many shopping venues, restaurants and bars to be found in the vicinity. The sprawling fine sand beach (complimentary shuttle bus service) and Faro II shopping centre are just 2 km away.

Built in 1988 and renovated in 2002, this bungalow complex comprises a total of 334 2 storey terraced bungalows. Facilities on the complex include a foyer with 24-hour reception desk, a safe, a currency exchange facility and a small supermarket. There is also a bar, a pub, a TV room and a restaurant with a non-smoking area and highchairs for infants. Furthermore, there is a public Internet terminal available for use and those arriving by car may take advantage of the car park. Children may let off steam in the playground and participate in kids' club activities as well as pay a visit to the 'mini disco' (for those aged 4 to 12 years). Room, laundry and medical services round off the facilities on offer.
