Hotel Information

The hotel offers an outstanding location to visit Inverness and the beautiful surrounding area of the Highlands. The hotel has undergone a full refurbishment and is now one of the best hotels in Inverness. Complimentary access to Inverness Leisure Centre is provided, allowing guests to workout in the fitness suite or relax in the health spa and pool. With Loch Ness approximately a 30-minute drive and the historic sites that are dotted around the local area, there is plenty to keep guests occupied during their stay. (GW 09/2008)

This is a traditional grey slate Victorian building in keeping with the surrounding architecture.

The medium sized lobby is decorated in traditional style. The furniture and colour scheme is a little dated and would benefit from refurbishment. Comfortable seating is available.

This hotel is located near to the centre of Inverness. Shops, restaurants, bars and pubs as well as links to the public transport network are to be found about 500 m from the hotel.

The city hotel was renovated in 2004 and consists of 76 rooms on 4 floors, of which 8 are singles and 68 are doubles. Amongst the facilities count a welcoming foyer, a wireless Internet terminal, a conference room and lifts. The air-conditioned restaurant offers highchairs for younger guests. Room service rounds off the hotel's services.

Check in: 14:30h. Check out: 11h.

Situated on the banks of the River Ness, the Columba Hotel is overlooked by Inverness Castle, and is within easy walking distance of the theatre, shops and other amenities. As 'Capital of the Highlands', Inverness is an excellent base for exploring this part of Scotland. Loch Ness with its famous monster is only a few miles away, and in the opposite direction lies the Culloden Battlefield. It is also close to Strath Spey and the whisky trail to the south and the spa town of Strathpeffer, the Black Isle and the Dornoch Coast, famous for its beaches and golf 'links' to the north. The hotel has 86 rooms on 4 floors.
