This is a traditional grey slate Victorian building in keeping with the surrounding architecture.

The medium sized lobby is decorated in traditional style. The furniture and colour scheme is a little dated and would benefit from refurbishment. Comfortable seating is available.

The city hotel was renovated in 2004 and consists of 76 rooms on 4 floors, of which 8 are singles and 68 are doubles. Amongst the facilities count a welcoming foyer, a wireless Internet terminal, a conference room and lifts. The air-conditioned restaurant offers highchairs for younger guests.
