This hotel is ideally situated in the heart of Carlisle, directly opposite the railway station and overlooking the splendid twin towers of King Henry VIII's historic Citadel. It is just 3 km from junction 43 on the M6, making it an ideal base for exploring north Cumbria and the Lake District. Durham Tees Valley Airport is about 135 km away, while Leeds/Bradford Airport is 179 km away.

This city hotel is a listed building which still retains its Georgian grandeur. It offers 84 rooms in total spread across 4 floors. It provides modern and spacious accommodation with free WLAN access in all public areas.
