This property is an excellent addition to the accommodation options in Napier. A mixture of historic character and modern convenience. The views from the sea facing rooms are excellent. The hotel is in two parts. The historic part of the building is a two storey Art deco building with a cream and brown facade. The modern wing is three storeys built in 2006 and is in a light sand coloured concrete finish.

There is a variety of room types. The Studio room types all have a balcony and some have sea views though these are limited. A good size and in excellent condition as they were built in 2006. A modern light colour scheme with silver grey bedspreads. Bathrooms are furnished to a high standard and are medium in size. There is tow studio rooms in the historic part of the building, these are slightly larger and have a bathtub as well as shower.

The hotel provides breakfast in the historic part of the building. The hotel does not offer lunch or dinner service.
