Called the pearl of the Saimaa waterways, Lappeenranta has much to see and do, and is a popular summer town. The Hotel Cumulus Lappeenranta is beckoningly situated in the heart of the action. From Lappeenranta it's handy to take a day's cruise on the Saimaa or make a one-day shopping trip to Vyborg. Tickets to many of the city's attractions can be purchased at the hotel.

The bedrooms are simple but modern with bright colours and light wooden furniture. They are in fair condition, as although they are perfectly clean and comfortable, they are a little worn in places.

The restaurant is large with dark wood and rustic colours used throughout. There is also a small summer terrace by entrance (weather permitting!).
