Cumulus Turku is cosy and service-minded hotel to be opened in January 2004. The new Cumulus hotel will enliven hotel services offered in Turku, meeting the needs of domestic business travellers and leisure guests alike. The five-floor Cumulus hotel to be opened in January will have a total of 108 rooms. Customers will also have two saunas and a covered car park at their disposal. The hotel lobby and reception are completely new, and their interior decoration is congenial. The newly built breakfast room on the 2nd floor is spacious and light special attention will also be focused on its functionality. A modern hotel with a functional exterior situated in central Turku, the Cumulus Turku is just 500 meters from the station and the city's market. Simple contemporary furniture, polished dark wood floors and patterned fabrics in deep, warm colours characterize the 108 guestrooms, all of which have work desks with Internet connections, cable television, direct dial telephones and tea and coffee makers. Guests can unwind Scandinavian style in one of the hotel's two onsite saunas, or relax with a drink or cocktail in the lobby bar. Buffet breakfast is on offer each morning in the light and spacious glass-fronted breakfast room and wireless Internet access is available throughout the hotel's public areas. The hotel offers a round-the-clock front desk service with a safe deposit box and onsite covered parking is free of charge. Guests of the hotel will find themselves just a short distance from many of the city's attractions: the theatre and art museum are both within one kilometre and the harbour is just two kilometers away. Turku airport is about eight kilometers and a 20 minute drive from the hotel and can be reached by public transport.

The rooms are mediums sized and decorated in pale pastel colours with large windows giving them a pleasant airy feel. They are in very good condition, as are the bathrooms, and whilst not exactly luxurious offer all the comforts one would expect of a good 03 star.

The restaurant is on the ground floor and is modern but cosy.
