Following its complete renovation, this is possibly the best hotel in the Netherlands. It has been beautifully restored to its former, traditional heyday, but with modern touches, and offers the utmost in luxury. It also comes complete with a health spa which is located on the lower ground floor and is almost like a labyrinth, with arches leading to treatment rooms and a small indoor swimming pool. This is a very grand, impressive, traditional building.
The lobby is very small but beautifully decorated with dark and relaxing colours, candles and flowers in abundance and small desks for check in. This in turn leads to the delightful lounge/lobby area which is where the hotels high tea is served and where ample seating is available.
This luxury hotel lies at the heart of the diplomatic quarter and is surrounded by a selection of theatres, museums and shops. Links to the public transport network and the main train station are to be found close by and can easily be reached on foot. The beach is about 15 minutes away by car.There is a direct link to the international airport and access to the motorways to Amsterdam and Rotterdam are also to be found nearby.

Le Mridien Hotel Des Indes opened in 1881 and has hosted aristocrats, kings, heads of state, and celebrities. Originally built in the nineteenth century as the town residence of Baron van Brienen, the personal advisor of King William III, the property was sold only four years after the Barons death and was soon renovated into a luxury hotel.The atriums magnificent drop chandelier and the colossal marble columns flanking the spacious lobby reflect this hotels heritage.
