The lobby is small with a small seating area but it is quite welcoming as it has recently been renovated.
This hotel is situated in Amsterdam's wonderful old town. Countless shopping venues such as the Magna Plaza shopping centre, as well as entertainment venues, bars, pubs and nightclubs are located in the immediate vicinity. Public transport departs from stops within metres of the hotel entrance.
The hotel is housed in a building that was once the Heinecken beer brewery and was built in 1870. There are a total of 120 rooms spread over 6 floors of which 5 are single rooms, 77 are double rooms and 16 are apartments/ studios. Amongst the facilities count a brasserie that is famous for its steaks and a typically Dutch style bar. Furthermore, there is a foyer with 24-hour reception desk, an a la carte restaurant with separate non-smoking area, a conference room and a public Internet terminal, room and laundry services may be taken advantage of by guests and guests may park their cars in the hotel car park on payment of an additional fee.
