The hotel is a very attractive traditional building, with an attractive facade in the Beaux Arts style.

The lobby area is huge with a traditional reception. This room is very bright and has a beautiful, ornate, listed ceiling, and in the back beautiful grand sweeping stairs. The reception desk is rather small and simple to the right of the entrance.

This hotel is located near the railway station, about five minutes by car from the historic city centre as well as only a short walk from the centre of modern Carcassonne and its many shops. The hotel is also just 1 km from links to the public transport network, and about 4 km from the airport.
