This is one of Germany's largest hotels. It is a fabulous property with almost deluxe class rooms and an excellent choice of restaurants, even though the location is not central, but it can be easily reached by public transport.

The design of the building is loosely based around that of a ship. It is a huge angular building constructed of glass, steel and beige stone.
The very large lobby is a huge atrium style area with a high glass roof. It resembles an Italian piazza in style with various restaurants and bars leading off the lobby.
Europe's largest convention and entertainment hotel complex is located in the Neukolln district of Berlin. Many public transport links may also be found in the surrounding area, such as the city train from Sonnenallee and the bus from Ziegrastrasse. The numerous sightseeing attractions of Berlin are all, naturally, within easy reach.
Built in 1994, this popular hotel offers a total of 1125 rooms and suites spread over 17 floors (also including non-smoking floors). A glass-covered atrium with trees, a terrace and a bridge are all included throughout the four buildings of the hotel.
