The hotel is set in a picturesque hamlet situated on the cliffs above the beautiful caldera, with an enchanting view of the endless Aegean Sea and the volcano. Oia's centre is a short walk away and offers a variety of traditional gift shops, restaurants and mini markets. The beach at Katharos is around 1 km away and Fira Beach is some 12 km away. Oia's Old Castle is some 500 m from the hotel and the archaeological museum in Fira is some 12 km away. Santorini (Thira) National Airport is around 30 km away.

The establishment, which was renovated in 2010, comprises 17 luxurious suites. All suites are traditionally designed featuring Santorinian 'cave-like' architecture, arches, curves, island-style furniture and spacious verandas. This air-conditioned apartment hotel includes a lobby, 24-hour check-out service, hotel safe and currency exchange facilities. It also features a café, bar and restaurant. The suites have traditional sleeping areas with double and single beds and living areas which feature Santorinean and volcanic architecture, while still offering modern facilities like a direct dial telephone, satellite TV, CD player and safety deposit box.
