This hotel is centrally located directly in the tourist resort of San Antonio and only around 200 m from the beach. Commercial areas with shops, boutiques, bars and restaurants are to be found in the near vicinity. The local tourist information office lies right opposite the hotel, where the beach promenade begins. Links to the public transport network are located directly in front of the hotel.

Renovated in 2005, the hotel comprises a total of 112 rooms spread over 6 floors. The spacious lobby offers guests a reception and a hotel safe (for an added fee). The hotel also has a cafe, its own bar and a restaurant. In addition, there is a public Internet terminal available for use. Those arriving by car may take advantage of the car park around 2 minutes away for an added fee.

This hotel is particularly suitable for budget travellers looking for a very central location. At present there is no swimming pool within the hotel premises, however, guests are welcome to use the outdoor pool at a neighbouring hotel (free of charge), located only a one minute walk away from the entrance of Hotel Florida. The pool is open during the summer only, usually from June to September inclusive, but exact opening and closing dates depend on the opening period of the neighbouring hotel. (It is obligatory for all our guests to buy and consume food or beverages at the pool bar).

The rooms are basic but functional and comfortable.

There is no restaurant in the hotel but a cafeteria where the breakfast is served.

The lobby is small and modern in style.
