A very well placed comfortable three star hotel. Ideal for those wanting to be right in the heart of Manchester. (11/05 IT)

The hotel from the outside almost looks like a very large Victorian house. The hotel does not stand on its own but is terraced in between other buildings.

The lobby is quite small but rather welcoming. There is ample seating in the Lobby.

The hotel is located in the centre of Manchester overlooking Piccadilly Gardens, only 5 minutes walk from Piccadilly rail station and close to bus and taxi stations. Near to the junction of Piccadilly, Portland and Newton Streets.

The hotel was renovated in 2004 and consists of 87 rooms on 5 floors, of which 12 are singles and 71 are doubles, as well as 4 suites. The hotel's facilities include a lobby with a 24-hour reception, a safe, a currency exchange desk, lifts, a conference room and a car park. Dining options include an inviting cafe and an air-conditioned a la carte restaurant with highchairs for infants. Further facilities include Internet access, room and laundry services as well as medical assistance. Smoking is not permitted in any part of the hotel.
