This charming country hotel lies within the heart of the Lewitz, an untouched area of natural beauty. Its variety beckons guests to undertake relaxing tours and explorations in all directions. The tranquillity of the forested surroundings with an abundance of cycle and footpaths offers the hotel's guests a means of recuperation and relaxation. The Lewitz is one of the largest nature reserves in Mecklenburg. Only a hundred years ago it resembled desolate marshlands. Today however these lowlands, with their forests, endless birdlife and plentiful canals, attract many nature lovers. The train station at Neustadt-Glewe is approximately a 20-minute walk away.

Built in 1622, the building was restored with great love and attention to detail and offers its guests the opportunity to personally experience the high style of the Baroque era, whilst also enjoying today's comfort. The magnificent plaster ceilings of the interior were produced by Italian masters over a period of eight years. The plastered area totals 1,600 mÂ. The 32 fireplaces in the palace are also adorned with mantelpieces, rosettes and plaster figures. The hotel comprises a total of 37 rooms and offers guests a 24-hour reception and check-out service, as well as a hotel safe, TV lounge, restaurant and WLAN Internet access.

Children may stay for free in their parents' room, when utilising any existing bedding (the provision of an extra bed is not possible).
