A charming boutique hotel with an excellent location and concept. The accommodation, service, staff and facilities are eqisuite and it comes highly recommended for couples looking for a truly romantic experience. (01/08 MK)

A traditional Copenhagen city building over five storeys. The facade is brick and burgundy in colour, with a delightful courtyard to the rear offering a green oasis.

Although small, the lobby is beautifully designed and symbolic of the experience and design the guest will receive within.

Guests can relax in the quiet courtyard garden with decked walkways to the rear. Bertram's is completely non-smoking, but smokers are welcome to use the garden, where convenient heating lamps and blankets can be found. The cafe at Bertram's is open 24 h and sells the hotel's own perfume line, organic delicacies, Mexican crockery and cutlery from Bali, as well as guest toiletries.
