The hotel is set in an area renowned for its natural beauty mountain ranges, forests, river valleys and lochs (as seen in the hit BBC series""Monarch of the Glen""). Close by the hotel there are an abundance of activities including golf, cycling, trekking and walking that will suit all abilities. Winter sport enthusiasts can enjoy skiing and snowboarding at Cairngorm which is only a short drive from the hotel. The central location means that touring from here to all the famous landmarks in the Highlands such as Loch Ness, Ben Nevis and the Isle of Skye is easy.

There are 85 en-suite rooms all with wireless Internet access, refreshments and satellite TV. Rooms are traditionally furnished to a fair standard offering a cosy and homely environment.

There is a restaurant that seats 160 guests and a bar in which to sample a wee dram. Guests can choose a whisky from one of the many local distilleries for which this area is famous for throughout the world. The restaurant offers good home cooking using the best of Scottish produce and their sweet trolley is always a favourite.
