This hotel is located on the northeast coast of Malta, close to the picturesque town of St. Julian. First opened in the year 2000, this 10-storey luxury hotel comprises a total of 294 elegant rooms and suites. Facilities include an air-conditioned foyer with a reception desk, a currency exchange facility, hire safes, a cash machine, a hairdresser's salon, a beauty parlour, a car hire service, boutiques and shops, a coffee shop, a luggage storage facility, a concierge, a souvenir and newspaper kiosk, a tour desk, a children's play area and lifts. Guests may enjoy some local, Mediterranean cuisine in the Oceana restaurant whilst wonderful panoramic views out over the lit marina are to be had from the terrace of Blue Elephant and the rustic Restaurant Bottega del Vino offers Mediterranean snacks and a selection of Italian wines. The meeting and conference centre, which was opened in 2003, offers a diverse selection of rooms for all types of functions (with video projector, copy and fax machines, typewriters and modem connections). 24-hour room service is available to guests and those arriving by car may make use of the hotel car park or the underground parking that lies adjacent to the hotel.
