This standard 3-star hotel is located in the heart of Caen. It offers clean and comfortable accommodation in a very convenient location and at a reasonable price. It is ideal for guests travelling on budget yet looking for a certain standard of service. It is a good starting point for visits to the Normandy region and is perfectly suitable for both business and leisure needs. The hotel is located on Place Foche, a 10-minute walk to the very centre and to the Congress centre, and 1km from the train station. It overlooks the racecourse and 50 acres of meadows. The building is a nice, traditional 6-storey building with pale facades and a blue-slated roof, located at the angle of 2 busy streets. The lobby area is welcoming and cozy with its flowery carpet and its chandeliers. It has a small seating area. Rooms are medium in size. They are clean and comfortable and equipped with all the modern amenities. The decor is contemporary, nice and simple, with harmonious colour schemes and matching bed spreads curtains and cushions. The floor is carpeted throughout. Bathrooms are spacious and modern. Both the bedrooms and the bathrooms are in very good condition. There is a bar and a brasserie-style restaurant on the hotel premises. A nice fireplace brings a lot of warmth and coziness to the restaurant and bar area. Interesting contemporary paintings embellish the walls. A hot and cold buffet breakfast is served every morning from 7.00 to 10.00 am. Continental breakfast can be brought to the rooms until 12.00am.
