One of the oldest and most venerable in Bergen, the hotel dates back to 1918, when Bondeungdomslaget (the Society of Farm Youth) and private shareholders decided to create a place to stay for people from the outlying districts. Despite its modern ambience, the hotel has not forgotten in roots in the form of good food, history, culture and tradition.
