This hotel is located in the historical centre of Erfurt, right next to the famous Kramer Bridge. The river Gera flows through a small park opposite the building so no main roads disturb the idyllic and quiet scene. Shopping opportunities are within walking distance, as well as most of the bars and pubs of the city. Cultural highlights include the opera, theatres, cathedral steps festival and last but not least the beautiful Christmas market are all within easy reach.

A medieval inn right next to the Kramer Bridge has been restored in 2006 and extended into a charming designer hotel with 91 rooms. Facilities include a lobby with an air-conditioned reception, a safe, lifts, a bar, 3 conference rooms, Internet access and WLAN (fees apply). It houses the famous and excellent "Zum Alten Schwan" restaurant. Room and laundry services are also provided as well as bike rental and a playground. There is a secure car park and a garage, both for a fee.
