Location Information
Here, where the view of the Kaiser Mountain and the Fichtel mountain rambles towards the Thuringian Forest, lies Schoneck. This is the highest town in Vogtland, at 800 m above sea level. Schoneck is known to many as the Balcony of Vogtland, with panoramic views of over 2,000m of green, hilly landscape. Through it's snow-assured location, Schoneck is also situated close to Klingenthal, a popular winter sport location. It is an ideal starting point to try out the well-known Vogtland/Erz Mountain cross country ski runs. The building lies on the outskirts of the town and is ideal at any time of year. Within around 500 m, guests will find a train station and further public transport. The centre of Schoneck is around 1 km away, Plauen is roughly 3 km away and Hof is about 4 km away from the hotel.

From Dresden take the A4 towards Chemnitz until reaching Chemnitz Junction and from here take the A72 towards Plauen. From Erfurt take the A4 towards Leipzig to Hermsdorfer Junction, then take the A9 towards Munich until reaching Vogtland Bavarian motorway junction. Then take the A 72 towards Chemnitz. From Leipzig take the A9 towards Munich until reaching Vogtland Bavarian motorway junction. Then take the A 72 towards Chemnitz. From the A72 take the Plauen-Sud exit towards Oelsnitz/Klingenthal to Schoneck (around 25 km away). In Schoneck follow the signs to ""Parkplatz Skigebiet 2"" which take guests to the IFA holiday park. With the Vogtland train simply take it to the new stop by the resort.
