Guests wanting to follow the malt whisky trail can do so with ease and, being Scotland, there are over 20 golf courses to choose from for those looking to test their swing. (GW 09/2008)

Set across 3 floors this is a traditional white wash building.

Situated in the historic town of Inverurie, The Kintore Arms Hotel dates back to 1855 and is still an integral part of the community. Above the main entrance to the hotel, you are greeted by a coat of arms with the Latin phrase - "quae amissa, salva", when translated means "what has been lost is safe". Safe and comfortable is certainly what you will be in the fantastic listed building.

There are 18 en-suite rooms available, all with satellite TV, tea and coffee-making facilities, and direct dial telephone. Rooms are decorated more simply with touches of tartan tradition. Overall of a good standard and of a medium size.

For more relaxed dining the public bar with a large lounge bar/restaurant (with big screen TV & pool table) offers lighter snacks, whereas the Cherubs Restaurant is available for more formal dining. The restaurant offers a comprehensive menu which takes advantage of the excellent local produce. The Crombie Suite with a real fire is also perfect for a quiet drink. All areas are traditionally furnished to a good standard with Scottish tartan and roaring open fires during the winter.
