The hotel is situated on the former site of the Aberdeen Arms Hotel and has undergone major renovation work. It is a modern and contemporary looking hotel with a large glass fronted lobby.

The lobby is medium in size and modern in design with real fireplaces and to relax in front of. There is mahogany panelling on sections of the walls and a marble floor throughout.

From 11am until 4pm The Coffee Dock serves homemade soups and breads, and a selection of sandwiches, scones and gourmet coffees.
