To get to the base in Spean Bridge. By car from the south: from Fort William take the A82 towards Inverness. Continue through Spean Bridge, and after 20 km, cross a swing bridge over the canal. Take the first left, signposted Kilfinnan, Balmaglaster. Travel 2.5 km along this road, which is a single track with passing places and look down to the left. The 'A' framed wooden chalets should now be visible, so take a sharp left just after the chalets, crossing over a cattle grid. Pass in front of the chalets with the Loch to the right, and follow the road into the boatyard car park.
