Location Information
An oasis of rural tranquillity, this hotel is located in the picturesque village of Pancole, around 5 km away from the centre of San Gimignano with its restaurants, links to the public transport network, shops and railway station. Surrounded by sloping hills covered with vineyards and olive orchards, it is the ideal location for a relaxing holiday in simple, unpretentious family surroundings. The hotel is the ideal place to spend a relaxing, quiet holiday, nevertheless excellently positioned for trips to Tuscany's most famous tourist attractions. The village was once the seat of the Carolingian counts and is now famous for its Sanctuary dating back to 1600 with the precious Madonna of Pancole, painted in the 15th century by Pier Francesco Fiorentino.
Hotel Directions
From the north: take the A1 highway Milano-Roma in a southerly direction (towards Rome), exit at Firenze Certosa, take the Firenze-Siena highway in the direction of Siena, and exit at Poggibonsi Nord. Follow the signs to San Gimignano. Once in San Gimignano guests should follow signs to Certaldo. 4 km out of San Gimignano, in the direction of Certaldo, guests will find a sign for the hotel on the left. Turn left and follow the signs to Pancole. Once in Pancole, go past the church and, after 300 m on the left, the hotel will come into view. From the south: take the A1 highway Roma-Milano in a northerly direction (towards Milan), then exit at Valdichiana, take the provincial road and follow the signs to Siena (50 km). Once in Siena, take the Siena-Firenze highway in the direction of Firenze, exiting at Poggibonsi Nord and then follow the signs to San Gimignano. Once in San Gimignano follow the signs to Certaldo. 4 km out of San Gimignano, in the direction of Certaldo, guests will find a sign for the hotel on the left. Turn left and follow the signs to Pancole. Once in Pancole, go past the church and, after 300 m on the left, the hotel will come into view. From Pisa Airport: take the Firenze-Pisa-Livorno highway in the direction of Firenze and exit at Empoli West ""Ponte a Elsa"", follow the signs to Castelfiorentino and then to Certaldo. Once in Certaldo, follow the signs to San Gimignano, 6 km out of Certaldo, in the direction of San Gimignano, guests will find a sign for the hotel. Then, turn right and follow the signs to Pancole. Once in Pancole, go past the church and, after 300 m on the left, the hotel will come into view.
