A mix of traditional and historic building with outdoors balconies, it is very in tune with the interior.

Walls and ceiling are paneled with a dark wood. Torch-like sconce lamps evoke an almost medieval look.

The city hotel is approximately 2 km from the sea. Situated on a side street, the hotel is close to the Piazza Catalunya and the famous Promenade Las Ramblas. The Plaza Cataluna and the Plaza Universidad are both only a short walk away (100 m). The cathedral and the Gothic Quarter are also just a few minutes walk away. Countless shopping venues, bars, nightclubs, restaurants and links to the public transport network are situated right next to the hotel.

Renovated in 2002, this charming hotel features a pleasant garden (50 mÂ) and a total of 5 floors with 57 rooms. Features of the air-conditioned hotel include a 24-hour reception desk and a safe. Guests are offered use of a TV room, a car park and garage facilities. Additionally a laundry service is on offer.

The Mood is set when you enter into the reception lounge, witch is panelled (walls and ceiling) with a dark wood. Torch-like wall lamps give the room an almost mock-medieval look. A larger guest lounge and breakfast room are located one level up where the mood of days gone by continues. Here you find colourful antique wooden chairs with gilt trim, large wall murals, and stained-glass window. A lighter note appears in arched windows that open off the breakfast room to a small inner garden courtyard. The bedrooms display the same style: each is individual in decor, but with similar furnishings of ornate painted headboards and coordinating chairs and chests. Some of these pieces of richly painted furniture are exceptionally handsome antiques, while others seem to be reproductions. Although this is a "budget" hotel, the bathrooms are newly remodelled and the rooms all have air conditioning, mini bars, TVs, hairdryers, and direct dial telephones. Another bonus: There's a parking garage in the building.
