The luxurious hotel is located directly in the heart of the Old Town of Prague, right next to The Old Town Square. The building of the Hotel Metamorphis Excellent comes from the 1st half of the 14th century. The house was formerly called At seven candlesticks, as well as At the red deer. The whole complex is situated in the Tn courtyard of Ungelt, which is listed on the UNESCO world cultural heritage list. The two houses display the fact that during late Middle Ages, two separate houses stood here. First later, during a Barock period, both houses were joined together, creating the nowadays house nr. 644 Hotel Metamorphis Excellent. The whole house has been decorated by renaissance arcades and portals. The most luxurious suites are decorated by hand-painted historical wooden beams from 17th century.
