It is located in the heart of Brisbane's medical precinct, adjacent to Brisbane Private Hospital (Holy Spirit) and numerous medical centres. For this reason it is very popular among medical patients as well as their family and friends. Brisbane Airport is some 15 km away.
The hotel, which was renovated in 2007, is an ideal venue for both leisure and corporate guests due to its close proximity to Brisbane city centre. It has 71 rooms spread over 7 floors. It has a lobby with 24-hour reception, cloakroom and lift access. A bar, restaurant and conference facilities all feature, as do Internet and WLAN access (both subject to fees). Room and laundry services are provided with the former subject to fees. Parking facilities are available to guest arriving by car.
Guests will be required to leave either a refundable cash deposit or a credit card imprint when checking in. This is for incidental charges such as meals, beverages, phone calls, etc. Photographic ID will also be required at check-in.

Family rooms are larger than stahdard rooms, modern and generally in a good condition. Room facilities include air-conditioning, cable TV and Fridge. Bedding configuration is one queen bed and two single beds.
The New Mill hotel restaurant is open daily for breakfast, lunch and dinner. It is fully licensed and offers panoramic views of the Brisbane city skyline.
