The hotel is located near to the San Gil district and golf club, only roughly 10 minutes from the centre of San Juan del Rio. Mexico city lies 90 minutes away and Queretaro international airport is approximately 25 minutes away.
The hotel is housed in an over-200-year-old hacienda which has been turned into a comfortable and spacious accommodation, which retains its rustic colonial style and decorative features. The hotel has a total of 134 rooms two two-storey buildings. At the 24-hour reception desk in the entrance lobby, guests may deposit their valuables and change currency. Room, laundry and cleaning services, medical care, a tobacco shop, conference facilities, a business centre (photocopying, transcription of documents, fax and email services, audiovisual equipment hire, computer, Internet access) and parking.
It was transformed into a spacious comfortable country hotel preserving both the colonial/rustic style of the construction as well as all of its ornamental details. The Hotel Misin San Gil consists of 2 buildings each having 2 floors housing a total of 134 rooms. The older structure known as the trojes area has 22 junior suites, the Presidential, and Governor Suites. The other structure in the garden area houses the remainder of our standard rooms. In Los Arcos restaurant you will enjoy representative dishes of the region, as well as the typical Mexican cuisine. Everyday you can treat yourself to the exquisite breakfast buffet made even more memorable on weekends while listening to the relaxing sounds of our Tres Centurias de Musica quartet.
