This hotel was completed in July 2005 and is in excellent condition and provides first class service and facilities expected of the NH hotel chain. With its close proximity to the city centre, this is a highly recommended addition to the hotels of the Hague. jg/12.2005
This is a modern, purpose built, terracotta coloured building which also consists of office space and apartments.
The lobby is large and welcoming and decorated in earthy colours which are predominantly green and brown. The lobby has a small seating area, very high ceilings and a modern, dark wood reception area. This leads to an immense atrium with palm trees, brick walls and stone flooring which serves as the main lobby for the surrounding offices and shops. In the near future, there will be a health club, shops and restaurants in this area.
This hotel opened its doors at the heart of The Hague shopping centre, close to the government buildings and ministries. It is just a short distance to the main railway station and the city centre, both of which may easily be reached by car, as can the famous bathing resort of Scheveningen and the picturesque seaside resort of Delft.
The hotel comprises a total of 205 rooms of which 2 are suites, 13 are executive rooms and 1 room offers disabled access. This is the first NH Hotel in the Netherlands into which a nhube' restaurant, an innovative gastronomic concept by Ferran Adria, has been integrated where restaurant services, leisure and entertainment are combined. Six conference rooms are on offer (capacity of 8 to 400 persons) and there is 24-hour room service and a laundry service to make use of as well as a shoe-shine service, a car park, complimentary daily papers and a vending machine.
