This holiday complex lies in the middle of a tropical garden, right by the fine sand, idyllic beach of Playa Dorada. The lively centre of Puerto Plata lies only around 5 km from the complex.
Opened in 2001, this modern hotel comprises a total of 489 double rooms spread over a main building and several other buildings, by the beach. There is an elegant foyer with a 24-hour reception desk and safes awaiting guests in the main building. Other facilities in this spacious complex include a shopping arcade with a variety of boutiques, a souvenir shop and a beauty and hairdressing salon. Dining and drinking options include a number of bars and restaurants dotted around the complex (1 buffet restaurant, 4 a la carte restaurants (featuring Italian, Mexican, Chinese and a steak house), 1 fast food restaurant, beach club with a grill buffet and a pizzeria).
