The hotel was built in 1765 and renovated in 2004, and consists of a garden and 50 apartments on 4 floors. The original concept for the interior design of the house was created by Jane Wilson, who is responsible for the beautiful interiors of several milestone hotels, including the London Dorchester. Unique architectonic features of the building include antique wooden rafters, frescoes, sculptures, fireplaces and vaults such as might be found in a chapel.
