Location Information
Ravenna is a treasure chest overflowing with art, history and culture of the highest order, a city with ancient origins and a glorious past. Ravenna has served as a capital city three times: of the Western Roman Empire, of the Ostrogothic Kingdom of Italy and of the Byzantine Empire in Europe. The Galletti Abbiosi hostel is placed in the historical centre of Ravenna, very close to one of the most renowned sites, the Basilica of Saint Apollinare Nuovo. Many of the other monuments are of prime historical and artistic importance, and, just like the main railway station, are just a stone's throw away. The hostel lies about 20 km away from Forli airport and can be easily reached by taxi or by bus to Ravenna railway station and then a short walk.

By car: arriving from Bologna, take the A14 motorway towards Ravenna. Follow signs for the town centre and railway station. In front of the station turn right, then right again and then left at the crossroads into Via di Roma. By train: from the railway station in Ravenna you can walk to the hostel, go straight up Via Farini and at the end of the street turn left into Via di Roma.
