The parador is built in modern and typical Canary style and features gardens well-stocked with indigenous plants.

The lobby area is medium in size and neatly decorated with large window panes with allow to see the beautiful outside scenery.

The hotel lies at a height of 350 m, in the middle of a wonderful landscape and offers a stunning panoramic view over the Atlantic and the island's capital, Santa Cruz de la Palma (around 8 km away). Los Cancajos beach (with dark sand) is around 5 km away and the international observatories of the Roque de los Muchachos are 35 km from the hotel.
