The garden stands out, with archaeological remains, as does the magnificent glazed patio, the modular rooms and the cafeteria.

Its facade adjoins the city wall and almost forms part of it. It is a very beautiful historic building with traditional stone facade.

It is a small sized entrance hall. The pieces of furniture are traditional and create warm and cosy atmosphere.

Places worth visiting whilst in the region are Avila and the tiny village of ramacastanas. The Parador is located among luxuriant pine groves within the border of the mountain town of Navarreonda de Gredos at 60 kms from Avila and 171 from Madrid.

The Suite has accommodated many famous people like general franco. Every room is equipped with telephone, television and minibar.
