The Park Hotel Suisse, in Santa Margherita Ligure - Portofino, is located on a small hill, overlooking the sea, about a five minute walk from the city centre. Santa Margherita Ligure is about thirty kilometers from the city of Genova. A modern design at the time of its construction in 1956, the Park Suisse Hotel has been very well maintained and remains a comfortable, well equipped hotel. Surrounded by greenery, the Park Suisse Hotel Santa Margherita also provides guests with several terraces for taking in the fabulous views over the ocean. The reception area at the Park Suisse Hotel is large and tastefully decorated with leather armchairs, carpets and flowers, while the rooms are medium in size, modern in style and feature wooden floors and classic furniture. Three restaurants with panoramic views are located on the second floor at the Park Hotel Suisse. Two of them are outdoor- one around the heated swimming pool, the other one on the terrace while the main restaurant is indoor, equipped with stereo and piano, and the Chef offers extensive menus with regional, national and international cuisine. Park Hotel Suisse has 80 rooms, all of which are well-equipped with air conditioning, wi-fi connection, and bathtub or shower. Rooms are furnished in the modern manner, with telephone and satellite television, and nearly all the rooms have a terrace.Among the more classic tourist resorts there are names that evoke uncontaminated natural landscapes and others that owe their fame to the fascination of their buildings or their particular style of life.
