This hotel has a traditional exterior in keeping with the other buildings in this traditional neighborhood.

The small lobby also incorporates the breakfast room and has recently been renovated and is attractively decorated with wicker chairs and wooden tables with a marble floor and a large, almost floor to ceiling window which overlooks the small garden. The bar area is also incorporated in the lobby and is also very small with a couple of bar stools. The whole area is exceptionally well maintained.

The hotel is situated in 2 historical houses build around 1870 and designed by the famous Dutch architect P.J.H. Cuypers. This architect has also designed the buildings of the Central Station and the Rijks(National) Museum in Amsterdam.

The hotel is non-smoking.
