This hotel is housed within a historical building located at the heart of Funchal, on the Largo do Chafariz and just 30 m from the cathedral. It is just 50 m to a selection of restaurants and Madeira airport is 22 km away.

This hotel comprises 3 floors with a total of 10 double rooms, 2 apartments and 4 studios. On the upper floor of the building, and only up a steep staircase, guests will find the renovated rooms. Facilities include a foyer with a 24-hour reception desk it is possible to breakfast in the breakfast room.

Due to the hotel's central location there is no on-site parking. In addition, there is no wheelchair access due to the flight of steps leading to the hotel entrance.

This property is good value for money due to its central location. Please note that the that reception service works from 9:00 to 19:00 after that time they have a door communicator service which works in connection with the reception of the hotel tropical that has a 24h reception service. Upon arrival guests have to press the button at the door and from Tropical they will open the door and will give all the check in instructions to pax.

Rooms are unpretenciously decorated and small in size.

No restaurant in the premises, however a large variety of bars, restaurants can be found nearby.
