Set back from the bustling Kilkenny town centre right on the bank of the River Nore and directly opposite Kilkenny Castle. The best location in Kilkenny, a two minute walk from the town centre and amenities but with fabulous riverside setting.
Hotel Directions
Guests coming from Dublin Airport by car should follow the signs for the M50 motorway heading southbound. From the M50, take the M7, driving in the direction of Waterford, Limerick. Take the N9 towards Carlow, Kilkenny and Waterford. At Paulstown, take the N10, which leads straight into Kilkenny (journey time approximately 1 hour 30 minutes). On arrival in Kilkenny, follow the signs for the city centre. Using the castle as a landmark, the hotel is directly across the river from the castle (less than 10 minutes walking distance from the actual castle). McCourts Bar is to the front on the main street (John Street). Two archways lead into the car park. This is the main and only entrance. Matt the Millars Pub is located directly across the road from the hotel entrance.
