It is a traditional hotel built at the turn of the century. The appearance is deceivingly small on arrival but one soon realises that the building is substantial in size. Limited parking is available outside of the hotel, while further parking is available close by at a public car park.
The lobby is large and very grand, having recently undergone a refurbishment. It has an ornate sweeping staircase leading up to the first floor, next to which is the tea room and the Ash bar.
