Hotel Information

A delightful ryokan where guests can feel the traditional style still in the heart of Tokyo. There are two communal baths for guests (same sex only) , one made of Japanese cypress and the other made of black granite. (08/08 YT)

The ryokan is a beautifully decorated and maintained as a modern ryokan that looks like a small hotel but has traditional Japanese atmosphere, created from the decorated Japanese lanterns, latticed sliding doors, tiled roofing and garden lanterns.

Walking into the hotel is like stepping back in time to Edo Era. The lobby is small in size and all decorated with wonderful Japanese antiques from the Edo period. There are some traditional Japanese seating areas.

All rooms are traditional Japanese style with tatami mats, papered shoji sliding windows, and sliding fusuma doors. The rooms are decorated with antiques and woodblock paintings. By day, the room has ample seating and by night is transformed into a sleeping area with Japanese futons laid out for guests. Each guest room has its own private toilet and bath.

There is no proper restaurant in the ryokan. Meals are served in the banquet rooms if included in plan.
