San Blas Reserva Ambiental

San Blas Nature Resort includes, among its many options for leisure and relaxation, a boating lake and a spectacular multimedia centre dedicated to the Nature Reserve from which it takes its name.

Respect for the environment and commitment to sustainable tourism have been the driving forces behind the creation of this complex. The resort opens its doors in December 2008 and includes in its leisure offer a great variety of activities focused on getting to known the natural and cultural richness of Tenerife, though always with the scientific rigor that has been part of this project from the very beginning. Over 1.400 metres of fresh and salt water swimming pools acclimatised and at ambient temperature, with sun lounge and direct access to the beach.

The building and decoration were inspired by the colours and textures of its setting the landscape gardening was created using endemic plants from the area.

The complex is nature resort, declared Environmental Reserve and considered Natural and Cultural Patrimony of the Teneriffe's south. It is located in the front line of the beach in the municipal term of San Miguel de Abona, 10 minutes from the Reina Sofia international airport. It is also near the tourist center of San Blas and of the fishing town of Los Abrigos.

This hotel was built in 2008 and forms part of an environmental reserve and its architecture of forms, colours and textures blends well into the surroundings. This beach and spa hotel comprises a total of 331 rooms and welcomes families. Facilities on offer to guests at this air-conditioned establishment include a lobby area with a 24-hour reception and check-out service, a hotel safe, a currency exchange facility and lift access. It also offers a cafe-bar, a newspaper stand, a hairdressing salon, a nightclub and a theatre auditorium as well as a TV lounge and restaurant facilities. There are conference rooms, and guests may take advantage of the wifi Internet access, room and laundry services (the latter for an extra fee), a children's playground and parking. The younger guests will further enjoy the kids' club and guests wishing to explore the area on bicycle will find a cycle hire station at the hotel.
